Position: Production operator (aluminum/steel)

Work schedule : Monday to Friday, day shift

Starting salary: $23-25/hour

 

Are you hands-on, meticulous, and not afraid to get dirty? Do you enjoy a variety of tasks? Are you proficient with imperial measuring instruments and do you know how to operate a saw, drill, or other production tools? You will work in a metalworking workshop in addition to performing some production-related tasks.

Main functions of the position:

 

-          Take care of the entire part process (cutting, cleaning, drilling the part);

-          Proficiency in acetylene cutting;

-          Complete the daily report sheets;

-          Receiving/shipping the goods;

-          Use of tools: Metal press, miter saw, band saw, drill press, grinder, drill, table saw, circular saw, etc .;

-          Any other related tasks.

 

 

Qualifications and work experience:

 

-          Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a metal production or machining plant;

-          Good physical condition;

-          Ability to read production plans (in imperial).
